Avero Designs ("we", "us") builds websites for businesses in Calgary and beyond. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to reply to you and run the site.

Information we collect

Details you send us. When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number, business name, website, service interest, budget, and message you choose to provide.
Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host records standard server information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible project.
To provide, maintain, and improve this website.
To meet legal and security obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or advertising profiling.

How your message reaches us

Depending on configuration, the contact form either opens your own email application to send us a message directly, or is delivered through a form-processing provider that forwards it to our inbox. In both cases the information travels to reach us by email; we ask that you avoid sending sensitive information (such as financial or identity details) through the form.

Hosting & third parties

This site is served as static files by our hosting provider. We rely on a small number of reputable service providers (hosting, and — if enabled — a form-processing service and email provider) strictly to operate the site and receive your messages. Each processes data only on our behalf.

Cookies & analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this policy first.

Data retention

We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your message sooner at any time.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with us, or withdraw consent for us to hold it. To do so, email hello@averodesigns.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Residents of Alberta and Canada have these rights under applicable privacy law (including PIPA and PIPEDA); residents elsewhere may have equivalent rights.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share, but no method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
